Golfito Off Grid

"In Golfito's highlands on the Osa Peninsula, amid a forest with stunning views of Golfo Dulce, the project balances seclusion and transparency through minimalist architecture and natural materials..."

Situated in the elevated areas of Golfito in the Osa Peninsula, within a forest estate offering stunning views of the Golfo Dulce, the “Off-grid” typology project aims to fulfill two contrasting priorities: privacy and openness. This is achieved through the use of simple and pure volumes and materials.

The design of the main facade reflects our dedication to privacy and protection. On the other hand, the other sides of the house are carefully planned to foster a harmonious relationship with the outdoors, maximizing natural light and creating an intimate connection with the surrounding nature.

What makes this project unique is that it encompasses more than just the construction of the architecture. It involves collaborating with other companies and specialists to implement a program of reforestation, natural water recovery, permaculture, and landscaping in its surroundings. The aim is to create a project with the least possible environmental impact set in a paradise full of natural resources.
